U/S BIOPHYSICAL PROFILE (TWINS)
In the third trimester of a multiple pregnancy, the Hypro Diagnostics test becomes an essential assessment tool. This comprehensive examination combines a non-stress test (NST) with an ultrasound evaluation, focusing on various aspects of each baby’s health. The ultrasound specifically assesses body movements, muscle tone, breathing patterns, and the levels of amniotic fluid around each fetus. Individual scores, typically ranging from 8 to 10, are assigned to each baby. If the results are satisfactory, the obstetrician may schedule regular repeats of the Hypro Diagnostics test, typically once or twice a week until delivery. However, if any concerns arise, additional diagnostic tests may be recommended, and the obstetrician might discuss the possibility of promptly delivering the babies through either induction or a cesarean section. This proactive approach aims to ensure the optimal health and safety of both the mother and her multiple pregnancies using the advanced capabilities of Hypro Diagnostics.
