The Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) represents a coalition of nations dedicated to fostering global nonproliferation efforts by enforcing stringent guidelines for the export of nuclear materials and related technologies. Established in November 1975 during its inaugural meeting in London, the NSG is often colloquially referred to as the “London Club.” Comprising nuclear supplier countries, the group operates with the objective of preventing the spread of nuclear weapons by regulating the transfer of sensitive nuclear technologies.
