ANTIGEN TEST FOR FILARIA

The FILARIA Antigen Test aims to detect microfilariae, the larval form of filarial parasites transmitted by infected mosquitoes, in the blood. These microfilariae contribute to the disruption of the lymphatic system, leading to lymphatic filariasis. Given their nocturnal circulation pattern, blood samples are recommended to be collected during the night for more accurate detection.
