ANTI RO – SSA ANTI BODIES

Anti-Ro/SSA antibodies are frequently found in various autoimmune conditions like systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), SS/SLE overlap syndrome, subacute cutaneous LE (SCLE), neonatal lupus, and primary biliary cirrhosis. On the other hand, anti-La/SSB antibodies are more closely linked to Sjögren’s syndrome. These specific antibodies serve as crucial markers aiding in the diagnosis and classification of these autoimmune disorders.
