Antenatal Profile -I

The Antenatal Profile is a specialized package designed to comprehensively assess the overall health of pregnant females, including blood group determination and screening for crucial infectious diseases such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) 1 & 2, syphilis, and hepatitis B. These diseases have the potential for transmission from mother to child, making early detection vital. The HIV antigen/antibody test within this package is particularly noteworthy, as it simultaneously identifies HIV p24 antigen and HIV (1&2) antibodies, often detecting HIV infection within 18 to 45 days after exposure. The HBsAg test is included to specifically identify the surface antigen related to hepatitis B.
